What to review before you build
Keep care zones out of the count
Feeding, watering, egg collection and bedding removal require usable space. They should not be treated as leftover area.
Scale the service path too
A larger flock increases the frequency of routine work. Test supply storage, cleaning access and door use at the expected flock size.
